Recently, we see more #medical applications using #haptics not as an input device but as a slave device or as a comanipulative robot. The ISIR Lab turned our Virtuose into a laparoscope holder, and the Virtuose runs very smoothly with a high precision. youtu.be/rKn7jXrErUQ

The HGlove is a #haptic gloves. It allows the user to feel, on his fingers, remote or virtual contacts. Combined with a Virtuose #hapticdevice, the immersion is real, as the hand is fully blocked through the haptic interface. Watch this video for more: youtu.be/-KfOCrjXCyE

In 2018, IRISA decided to invest on a haptic system that could be used in their CAVE. Haption was able to design a very large Scale1 with Bi-human interaction possible and the capacity to seat and maneuver the system while seated. Watch their Scale1 here: ow.ly/yDa150vKBv0
