Grow a Garden 2 is taking over Roblox right now, and a huge chunk of players are not happy about it. The complaint is everywhere: >it's basically the same game as the first one >same shop, same loop, same vibe >why is everyone this hyped?? And honestly? They kind of have a point. It didn't blow up because it's some big new idea. It blew up on brand power. Same team behind the first game, same name, same look. People were always going to flood in no matter what the sequel actually added. A near copy with a “2” on the end pulled one of the bigger launch crowds Roblox has seen recently. That's the part that should worry every other dev on the platform. You don't need a better game anymore. You just need a name people already trust.

Roblox UGC copies are getting out of hand again. Public UGC makes it extremely easy for anyone to upload very similar (or near-identical) designs. Roblox’s current system doesn’t effectively stop design copying in public UGC. They seriously need better duplicate detection and protection for original UGC creators before everyone stops making unique stuff. What do you think Roblox should actually do about this?

Roblox limiteds are suddenly getting dumped on the catalog dirt cheap, and at first nobody could figure out why. Turns out the accounts selling them are getting stolen right now. Not with a hack, with a store receipt. >Someone grabs your PlayStation or Apple purchase receipt >shows it to Roblox support as proof the account is theirs >support resets the login and hands it over Every account that got hit had the same hole. No 2-step verification turned on. And if you ever bought anything through Apple or PlayStation, keep your receipt!!!! A store receipt should never be enough to give a stranger your entire Roblox account.

Roblox is changing User IDs Starting in October 2026, new players will receive game specific User IDs instead of one global ID across the platform. Existing players will keep their global IDs for now. Pretty big privacy update that could affect analytics, third party tools, datastores, ban systems, and cross-game moderation. Very bad update in my opinion...

The Roblox website just got blocked across Vietnam again. If you live there you don't get normal Roblox. You get a version run by VNG, the local publisher Roblox handed the whole country. Roblox Vietnamese players are trying to move their account back to global Roblox. Same runaround, over and over. Still nothing. > the website is blocked, so no buying gamepasses and no joining VIP servers > this is the second blackout in weeks. The site went dark in late May, came back, and now it's gone again > the old VPN trick is patched, so geo-locked games won't open even after you change your IP Through all of this, VNG's entire public response has been one apology saying they were fixing it. >No reason. No timeline. If a regional publisher can wall off the website and your account, do you actually own anything you bought on Roblox?

Roblox got handed a list of accounts openly running bad roleplay, and instead of banning them, it just reset their usernames. Schlep, who runs Roblox predator-safety programs with actual police, posted around 50 of them. >Roblox changed the usernames >The accounts are still up >Same friends, same activity, just a new name If Roblox can find the account to rename it, it can find it to ban it. So why is renaming these accounts the answer instead of removing them?

Roblox Jailbreak and Adopt Me have one of the most unexpected beefs... Both games locked the same window for their next live event on June 13th. Jailbreak kindly asked Adopt Me to push back their admin abuse for 15 minutes. However, got no responses.. Later Asimo3089 went WAR mode: > "You've kindled the fire I started.
