@greta I can understand stubborn parents wanting to live independently. But to not have a monitored door camera or an alarm system? My friend’s mother lives alone and her daughter sees everytime she steps outside or someone walks up to the door.

I have no idea the Guthrie family situation - but have you ever tried to get an elderly parent to move out of his/her home? Or have a nurse move in? They can be so stubborn, so difficult..

@greta Hey Greta why would they leave there mother all alone to live in that big house all alone in the middle of nowhere? Makes no sense. She is 83 has health issues and let’s be honest Savana is loaded. I just don’t get it. I hope she is found safe but my god what were they thinking

@LegalZoom You have the slowest, snail’s pace process I have EVER seen!! I requested your help back in early November to get my DBA and EIN. It took 8 weeks to get my DBA. Then for my EIN you later sent me the SS-4 form and told me to mail it in the US mail back to you or I could fax it to the IRS myself. You idiots got my social security number WRONG!! And there is NO phone number to call, no chat, and your email is “no reply”. So, I am forced to download the IRS form myself, fill it out myself and mail it in myself since nobody has a landline phone or fax machine anymore! How the heck do you even stay in business???? You’ve charged me hundreds of dollars to do this horrible and incomplete job! You owe me a refund!!

The travel industry isn’t just rebounding — it’s restructuring. What looks like more choice and more convenience on the surface often comes with more complexity underneath: dynamic pricing, tighter rules, less transparency, and fewer humans when something goes wrong. Airlines, hotels, and cruise lines are optimizing for efficiency, yield, and loyalty in real time. That makes sense for them. It also means travelers are now expected to navigate layered decisions, hidden tradeoffs, and increased risk on their own. At the same time, trips themselves have changed. Travel today is more often tied to milestones, multigenerational families, destination weddings, and once-in-a-lifetime experiences. When the trip matters more, the margin for error gets smaller. The future of travel isn’t about booking tools. Those aren’t going away. It’s about understanding the system behind the booking — what’s flexible, what isn’t, where risk sits, and how to plan with intention. As travel becomes more complex, the real value shifts from transactions to insight. That’s where I see the industry heading next. monarchtravelpartners.com/f/where-the-tr…

Are Zoom meetings enough—or have we reached the point where they limit real progress? As hybrid work becomes the norm, leaders are being forced to rethink when in-person meetings actually deliver greater impact. The answer is no longer obvious, and the cost of getting it wrong is rising. I cover this in detail in my latest blog, "Remote Work Didn’t Eliminate Business Travel — It Forced Leaders" monarchexecutivetravel.com/f/remote-work-…
