Something weird has been happening on my page lately. I started posting here just to document. Honestly, I have no agenda. No “building a personal brand” strategy. Just me sharing what I’m doing with ads and how it’s going. The wins, the failures, all of it. Then the engagement started coming in. Followers increasing. DMs too. Every day. Multiple people. Asking if I take clients, asking for mentorship, asking for guidance on their ads, their digital products, their campaigns. (I try to respond to as many as I can tho… but definitely can’t reach all because of my busy schedule) Honestly didn’t see it coming. I’m just here to document my shit and connect with people in the space. Lol Guess my reality? I already have my hands full. Between running my own campaigns, managing the few clients’ ads I already have and being a full time medical student. Got a review last week that I want to break down. Victory said the call changed his outlook on scaling. Gave him a precise system to scale efficiently while staying profitable. That last part is the part everyone skips. Most people chasing scale don’t understand the right way to do it. Nobody asks what happens to ROAS when you do that. Once we added an image to this ad set, performance tanked. Removing that same image improved performance. Creative diversity is good but sometimes, just stick with what works.

Tuesday was a public holiday. Random free day in the middle of my clinical rotation as a med student, which barely happens. Godsfavour booked his call at 10am. We hopped on by 1pm. Normal week, that slot doesn’t exist. Med school doesn’t leave room for much else. Honestly I’m almost always busy these days, which is probably why I’ll end up raising my consultation fee soon. Maybe even pause calls for a bit. Anyway. Shhh, let’s get back to the actual reason I’m sharing this. This man came in thinking his problem was ads. It wasn’t. We started talking and somewhere in there it became obvious the real issue wasn’t the targeting. Wasn’t the creative. You already know it’s not the budget either. The actual problem was the thing he was asking people to buy in the first place. After the call he said — “gave me more clarity and shared ideas that can make my offer more irresistible. He knows his onions, gave me the ginger and actionable steps I needed.” Funny how that works. You can stare at your own offer for months, tweak the ads five times, and still miss the one thing that’s actually broken. That’s the thing about blind spots. You genuinely don’t know they’re there until someone outside your head points right at them. Read that again if you run ads and traffic still isn’t converting the way it should.
