Watching the birth of a rising, reckless and powerful Dictatorship is so disturbing, especially seeing how much the world just watches in disbelief and its people barely able to recognize America.
I sort of now understand how and why Hitler got too far before the world could stop him. Many misread Hitler, not seeing (or refusing to admit) the scale of the threat.
This is not a label. It’s just reality. A system where a leader can talk about ‘taking’ another country and doing whatever he wants, and get away with it, isn’t a democracy.
That’s a dictatorship.
It might be too late for Cuba. Or perhaps, Trump’s War in Iran will end with a lesson that will stop him.
I fear too many leaders of Europe today are Neville Chamberlains of our day.
The world needs the likes of Spain, the Winston Churchills of our timeline who see and understand, as Churchill puts its, that Trump is “a total and unmitigated defeat … that fatally endangers” world security.
The world should best now be planning on how best to stop Senile Satan before it’s too late for everyone. Again.
Because, like Hitler, his narcissistic audacity is exceeding all guardrails.
