@Telegraph The Tories: 14 years of poor growth Highest burden of taxation for 75 years Did NOTHING to stop the boats THEY designed the online Safety Act And we’ve seen Kemi asking for more immigrant visas Computer says “NO”.

'For the first time in a long while, cautious optimism from Tory ranks does not feel entirely misplaced. Whether it translates into broader revival depends on whether they can sustain this clarity, discipline and focus' @CamillaTominay argues the 'seeds have been sown' for the Kemi-naissance 👇 telegraph.co.uk/news/2026/06/1…

@BasilTheGreat @raelbrav Which government department do you work for? Your work is serving Labour and the Tories well. That 6.8% of voters will soon realise your goal is simply to divide the centre right. #ResTories

Basically saying you only watched them because you agreed with them. Now they’re challenging your opinions you don’t like it. They’re just as smart, funny, entertaining and intellectual as they always were. When it comes to social media heavyweights, Reform are lacking badly, for good reason. Sorry you lost your preferred echo chamber but we have a country to fix

A lot of the political YouTubers I once watched and respected have sadly damaged their credibility by disappearing down the Restore rabbit hole. I won’t name names, we all know who they are. I hope they return to the independent journalism that made them worth watching before the Makerfield by election. Since then, too many seem to have lost all objectivity.

@ObserverUK I watch @ZiaYusufUK in debates and regularly read his tweets - @reformparty_uk are lucky to have him. He’ll debate anyone & explain eloquently why the Uniparty has allowed the UK to descend into a woke, overtaxed, over-censored state whose citizens are facing cultural extinction

@LeeHarris @danwootton His resignation would be the only silver lining in the Makerfield result. Starmer has gaslighted the country since day one. He failed to speak for the country after Southport and instead was quick to label everyone as “far right”. His departure can’t come soon enough.

A timely reminder that based on the standards Labour set in 2022, if Andy Burnham becomes PM via a leadership election, a General Election should be called. If Andy Burnham is crowned PM, a General Election should be called. We have the receipts ready.

@BasilTheGreat Because #ResTories aren’t a serious party. They have 2 themes - deportation and grooming gangs. Both important but you can expect to run a government on just that. It was quite obvious Lowe wasn’t bothered that Labour was going to win……

The man who tried to prosecute British army veterans - The man who ensured Lucy Connolly got a two year prison sentence for a tweet- now wants to censor X Hermer should really live in Russia - he’d fit in well.

🚨 This is Judge Tracey Lloyd-Clarke, Recorder of Cardiff. She sentenced ex-soldier Daffron Williams a 41-year-old veteran who served in Iraq and Afghanistan and suffers from PTSD to two years in prison (half to be served in custody) for Facebook posts made in the tense days after the Southport child murders. His posts referenced “civil war is here” and included anti-Islamic imagery. She acknowledged his military service, good character references, and mental health struggles… but still sent him to prison for words on the internet. The same judge has also jailed others for social media posts in the post-riot crackdown, including 24-year-old David Morgan who received 20 months for tweets involving Nazi imagery and racist content. Yet when Rees Newman convicted of the historic rape of a girl under 14 appeared before her for breaching his sex offender requirements, she suspended his two-month jail term, explicitly citing prison overcrowding. A veteran with PTSD goes to prison for Facebook comments warning about cultural conflict. A child rapist walks free because the jails are too full.

One other big winner from last night. Kemi Badenoch. Huge victory in Aberdeen South. Huge rejection of Nigel Farage and Reform in Makerfield. Will now properly embed the Tory fightback narrative.

@BasilTheGreat Don’t worry Basil- people will eventually realise that Restore’s sole purpose is to prevent a centre-right government. But people like you? Are you a) Mean well but ultimately deluded ? b) Part of a deliberate cyber operation ? Only Labour /Tories benefit. And illegal migrants

Looking at the responses from Reform today Absolutely embarrassing how little responsibility they take for anything They can't even blame Restore Britain for splitting this imaginary vote and they're still trying to say we're somehow the problem Shambles

@RupertLowe10 @SirBillyM1219 Congratulations, Rupert. You’ve played a vital role in ensuring a Labour victory. You’ve helped an Open Borders politician get into power. That means there’ll be more illegal migrants heading to the UK. And you’re proud of that? Your brother’s a Tory. Looks like you are too.

What Restore Britain has achieved is remarkable. We officially became a political party in March. It’s June, and we’ve just fought our first parliamentary by-election. Third. Thousands of votes. In the face of the most vicious establishment onslaught. We had no infrastructure in Makerfield. No branch, nothing. The first branch meeting had to be turned into our campaign launch. We had never knocked on a single door or delivered a single leaflet in Makerfield. To call it a standing start is unfair. We were nowhere. And we came from nowhere to achieve that impressive score. It took other parties years and years to do what we did in a few months. Very proud of the team, very proud of our candidate Rebecca who I was delighted to support at the count late last night. One thing is clear. Restore Britain is now officially on the map. We are an established national political party. That must be reflected in fair media coverage - something distinctly lacking so far. More importantly, the polls must start giving voters the option to choose us. The deliberate suppression of Restore Britain support must end. We are here to stay. Yesterday’s result will go down in history as the day Restore Britain announced itself on the national stage.

Having been in Makerfield all day & seen the Restore operation up close I can confidently say these are the last people Britain needs. Do you know who they remind me of? The pro-Gaza independents. Thugs. And Bullies. It doesn’t matter what the result is. Their activists are a disgrace. Britain deserves better.

IF YOU HAVE A VOTE IN MAKERFIELD TODAY: Andy Burnham CANNOT VOTE in this by-election because he is not a local. He was part of the grooming gang cover up. He wants to rejoin the European Union. He “welcomes” illegal migrants to the area. He does not know what a woman is. He is Starmer in jeans. Please appreciate how important this election is. Please make the effort to vote ROB KENYON of REFORM UK. The fate of a grateful nation is in your hands 🙏 🇬🇧

Why am I not surprised that the @libdems are trying to stop the raising of British flags ? Furthermore, using voters’ money to do it !!! Ed Davey has to take 1st prize for useful idiot - aligning with those who seek to undermine this country. #OxfordCouncil
