I was thinking about all the fraud exposed this year and it made me think about how little most people know about where their tax dollars go. If we’re forced to pay taxes until we die then we should be given a yearly receipt showing EXACTLY how our last year of taxes were spent. Just like a grocery store receipt. If this level of accountability existed, I guarantee we wouldn’t be funding transgenderism in third world countries or fake Somali daycares. These things only happen because it’s concealed so well for so long. The average person has no idea. Support for cutting and/or ending many taxes would skyrocket overnight once people had a receipt showing them how their money was spent. It would be a singularly radicalizing event for each person as they finally come face to face with the truth of how they’ve been robbed their entire life. If we need to account for every dollar and report it all, then they should have to account for every dollar they take from us and report back how they spent it all before they get any more. The truth is a dangerous thing for crooked politicians. It’s the weapon they fear the most and so it’s the weapon people deserve the most to hold powerful interests accountable.
