A few hours ago President Trump told me that Iran will allow US personnel to remove the stored uranium. “We’re getting it all,” he said. “And we have learned a lot about NATO.” The plan to blockade the Iranian ports was Trump’s idea.

As a young man, I met people driven from their homeland by Iran’s Islamic Republic. Their stories of fear, repression, and loss stayed with me. Since then, I have worked to support Iran’s democratic opposition and to stand with those fighting for a free, secular and democratic Iran. The regime sanctioned me in 2022. I wear it as a badge of honor.
