Cole likes Drake more than he does Kendrick, that's clear as day now. I don't give a fuck mind you but I think the whole I love you both thing just funny, Cole doesn't want to criticize KDot but indirectly he feels a way about him doing all of that against a dude he likes more.

What do you exist for? Just to sit in a room, nod your head and say “right” while the artist rant about nothing? Pushing back or asking follow up questions on obvious bullshit does not need to be an interrogation. Pushbacks can be done with respect. A good journalist knows that. J. Cole & Cam clarify their verse for verse/interview swap situation and why there was a miscommunication: ▫️J. Cole offered to pay Cam as soon as he finished the verse, Cam declined and asked for an interview instead (Cam saw it as a swap, Cole saw it as a favor like sure I’ll do an interview when the album drops) ▫️Time goes by, and Cole finally puts out MDL (with the Cam verse). Cam’s lawyers hit Cole with an egregious # (since he wasn’t ready for an interview) and Cole is like wtf ▫️Where Cole messed up is he told Cam he’d get him back with an interview, but kept pushing it off bc he wanted ‘The Fall-Off’ to drop first, and the album took longer than he thought to finish. The Kendrick/Drake beef was happening too which added to the chaos. ▫️Cam kept hitting Cole and Cole kept pushing the date back, which is why the lawsuit happened. Cam did it to get Cole’s attention, saying he didn’t think it was actually going to go anywhere. Moral of the story is always be direct and get the business in writing when you do a deal with someone no matter how close you are lol @TalkwithFlee
