Ahhh i actually just commented exactly this with someone else. You are exactly right, when cod was constantly battle with battlefield we saw the best product, competition brings out the best. Bf3 was up against Mw3 , bf4 and ghost were both competing to be the best on the new gen. Hell ea even tried pinching Cod infinite between 2 games, bf1 and titanfall 2, forcing cod to tack on cod 4 remastered. Sadly the only one who suffered there was titanfall 2 which smokes both in my opinon 🤣
