The more I think about last night's game, the more annoyed I am. We don't know what Hunt said to Fossier, and we never will, but it clearly triggered him. No star player should ever be left having to stick up for himself against the player that could have ended their career.

@JGookDesign Why would it be different? Again, I've never said Joe wasn't good at what he does. He's on the receiving end of a gentle ribbing. If they win tomorrow, he can and should come straight back at me. As is the game.

@jsmyth91 I think it would be different. Joe's great at what he does, and whilst I've not seen the specific comment, I can only imagine it was backed up using one of his models.

@JGookDesign Why is age an issue here? If he was 40, into his 2nd year, would that be different? It's a small receipt for something said about the Belfast captain pre Steelers job.

@Chrismurray87 You understand that he missed a chunk of games because of the injury, right? He was our top point scorer last season and was on track to be this season. Not sure how you've come to the conclusion that I'm a snowflake based on my original tweet either.

@DaveStevens0n I don't disagree, but sadly the games moved on from seeing 10-12 fights a season for one team, never mind one player. Would love to have some of those years back!

@JGookDesign For far too long we’ve not recruited anyone who can enforce a game. I’m not saying waste a roster spot on a goon. But a big physical power forward who will drop the gloves 10-12 times a season without thinking. Genuinely think that’s the only piece missing from this team

@Chrismurray87 Who's the snowflake here? I've been watching hockey long before all of those players you've mentioned. Fossier is one of the best players in the league, arguably the best on our team, so I think calling him a "star player" is fair.

@JGookDesign LOL 😂.“Star” player but got 0 goals or assists last night. Dont know how long you’ve been watching hockey but panthers used to have the likes of Mcgratten, Jensen, even further back is alex penner one of the hardest players ive seen..so many snowflakes ruining the game

@SMC2502 Yes mate, that's how serious concussions work - he's lucky to still be playing. No doubt he's one more away from not being able to play.

@JGookDesign Ended their career ? If you’re referring to hit in Kirkcaldy, it was a big fair hit, no call in the play, and DOPS would’ve tried their best to get Hunt but couldn’t. Unfortunate for Foss, that’s the dangers of hockey, he’s back playing,that’s the main thing
