@CorshamTownFC Very sad news to hear. My thoughts are with his family.

Everyone at the club is saddened to hear of the passing of Marvin Brown💔 Marv joined the club in the summer of 2024 alongside friend and business partner Ashley Morgan. They took over at a very difficult time for the club but soon turned the fortunes around winning 10 games in a row and showcasing a style of football and player profile not seen at the club previously. Marv became an instant favourite with the supporters and staff at the club and would always stay behind after the game to chat about life and football even towards the end of his time with the club when he was ill. He will be sorely missed and we send our thoughts and condolences to his young family at this time. We will be honouring Marv tomorrow night with a minutes applause before the game and we ask you all to join in this moment. Rest easy Marv 💔

A game of 2 halves ⚪️🔴 We come away with 3 points after a fantastic 2nd half display. We deservedly went in 1 nil down at half time with Brimscombe frustrating us for 45 minutes. Some half time words sent us out a different side. 2 goals from Theo, a clinical finish from Jake and a 25 yard screamer from Devanti finished the game in our favour. With around 100 appearances for the side and some memorable goals, Kieran Baggs Assistant Manager will leave to take up his first number one role at Devizes. Chris was one of Kierans first signings back in 2020 and was Vice Captain before being promoted to Assistant Manager in late Autumn of 2022. Chris has enjoyed a stellar career that has seen him make appearances for Swindon Town, Forest Green, Bath City and Chippenham Town before settling at the Southbank for 3 seasons. Club Director, Joe Martin, said “Chris has been one of the originals from Kierans early days in charge along with Mark Cooper, Andy Gilbert and Micky Baggs. It’s a great shame to lose a player and person who has been valued so highly by all associated with Corsham Town Football Club. Chris’s professionalism and dedication will be a huge asset to Devizes Town and both the club and myself wish him all the best for the future. First Team Manager, Kieran Baggs, added “Chris will be missed by everyone at the club, a real class act and someone who I’ve relied on heavily throughout my managerial career. Our loss is, Devizes gain and I’m sure that they will go on to achieve great things locally together. I know the feeling of pride you get managing your home town club and it was an opportunity too good to turn down for him. He will always be welcome back at the Southbank with us whenever he likes.” On behalf of everybody at the club, we would like to wish Chris well in his new role and offer him a huge congratulations on being appointed the First Team Manger of Devizes Town.
