Hundreds of us missed the first #Ekitike goal🤨 Queues snaking around here & there.People don't know where to queue.Not enough stewards using the scanners to make it faster. Those with bags etc taking an age to check.Main stand turnstiles today were a mare! @LFC @spiritofshankly

Unbelievable night for the celebration of @LivZoesPlace and the launch of Little Lights charity. 🙌 Thanks to everyone who got a ticket, every artist who played, every host, every media outlet who got behind it, everyone working behind the scenes. And last but not least, thank you to the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra & Sense of Sound choir for making it feel like live aid for all the artists on stage. The official music video for “Across the River” is out at 10am tomorrow on my YouTube channel.
A big thank you to James Nelson-Joyce, who agreed to get involved and star in the video. I think his performance encapsulates the meaning of the song perfectly. The video is a proper Scouse coming together. And for me it couldn’t be more authentic. All shot in Liverpool. ✊

Always thought the show should be allowed to speak for itself - but to mark the 20th anniversary of its return I agreed to be interviewed for the Dr Who Magazine Special Edition. Proud of the part I played in bringing it back to its rightful home on BBC1 @bbcdoctorwho

“Weekend in Paradise” is 5 years old today. 🤯 The song that changed my life. Where did the time go? My waistline has doubled, my hair length has quadrupled and I've made hundreds of unbelievable memories with you all since the day it was born into the world. 🙌 I never thought I'd get out of Liverpool with my music but here I am, on the way from Antwerp to Amsterdam, on my 3rd European tour. Another UK tour around the corner, playing a couple of arenas in different cities, followed by a run of gigs in Australia. It really is true when they say time flies when you're having a good time. And none of these good times would be possible without your support. Thank you for being there, thank you for living it with me. Thank you for having countless 3-day benders and seeing yourselves in the story of the tune. In my head, I'm just getting started. Here's to the next 5 years. Enjoy your first pint this Friday ✌️❤️✊
