@briandstone California btw. That’s super cheap for this place.

@briandstone Progressive covered me at $200 a month for my ‘26 Cyberbeast. Ngl, I was blown away. Less than I was paying for my ‘15 Jeep Rubicon.
English

Why in the world is Consumer Reports quoting these insane, unrealistic insurance rates for Teslas? I’ve never heard of anyone paying $400/mo to insure a Model 3.

@briandstone Per consumer reports….interesting…I’ll give my insurance company a call to see what they say.

@Damnlag @cybertruck It has no gas pedal.

@mod32excel @mrfundman Either one makes a great daily. They're basically the same truck, Beast just has a lot more power with the extra motor.
English

@mrfundman @JasonDischer I think the premium version is probably the best version for a daily driver.
English

@BlakeBiernackiX @Brand0n Definitely not the weight, it’s the instant torque. Even with an ICE vehicle a heavy foot is going to lead to lower mileage out of your tires. Gotta pay to play.
English

Why do you suppose that is?
The CyberTruck weighs less than a Diesel F250 Crew Cab Short Bed. I have one of those, routinely get 50-60k miles in the tires. I also have an in bed camper that adds 2750lbs, plus I routinely tow with the truck.
So it is not a weight issue.
Also, I have a 25 Model Y P with 38k miles on it. Stock tires look like that could get another few thousand miles outa them.
I think it’s your driving habits more than the weight of the vehicle that wears out tires faster.
Laying down rubber at every stop light, while fun, will eat tires no matter what you drive.

So I ordered an AWD cybertruck a few days ago. Today I took my nephew to test drive one but all they had was a Cyberbeast….. I might have to change my order…😳😳 @cybertruck why do you do this to me??
English

@mrfundman Yeah, I’ve seen others getting that too. I was really surprised that mine never did it. Mine is less than a month old so maybe it has to do with build date?
English

@JasonDischer It’s doing it again and again.. recalibrating for either front passengers or for all

He speared the side of Christ, and then he became a Saint, a centurion in the armies of God.
Saint Longinus was the Roman Centurion who pierced the side of Christ with a spear to ensure He was dead.
Tradition says he was partially blind. When the blood and water flowed from Jesus' side, it splashed onto his face, instantly restoring his sight.
He threw down his spear and cried out: "Truly this man was the Son of God!"
The weapon that speared Christ became a relic (The Spear of Destiny), and the man who wielded it became a martyr for the Faith.
Later he was persecuted by the Roman Empire for spreading the faith in Cappadocia.
There he preached Christ crucified and risen, converting pagans, baptizing multitudes. The governor demanded he bow to idols. The soldier of Christ refused.
He laughed at their lifeless statues: “They are not gods. They cannot save.”
They arrested him, tortured him and took his eyes, a brutal mockery of the vision Christ had given him. But even in darkness, Longinus stood strong: “I have seen the truth,” he declared, “and no man can blind me now.”
Still desperate to break him, the governor led Longinus to the temple of the gods, demanding he bow. Before him stood a massive idol, cold and lifeless. Then they cut out his tongue, thinking they had stolen his voice. But the Heavens defied them, Longinus continued to speak clearly, his words as if carried by God Himself.
His hand found the hilt of a discarded sword. And with one mighty strike, he cleaved the false god’s head from its body. As the stone shattered, he roared for all to hear: “NOW WE SHALL SEE IF THEY ARE GODS OR NOT!”
The Emperor had him martyred for this, but his actions had already converted thousands.
Saint Longinus was a soldier of Rome, but he died a warrior of Christ, and in that, he won the greatest battle of all. The battle for his soul.
Saint Longinus, patron saint of soldiers and converts, pray for us!

So just to recap: a prison guard who lied to the authorities about checking on Epstein also coincidentally made a series of deposits in the weeks leading up to his death that were so suspicious that the bank independently reported them to the police. That same prison guard was searching for news about Epstein in the moments before his death. And that same guard was independently named by inmates who claimed that she was involved in covering up the killing. Also, two cameras in front of Epstein's cell malfunctioned while all of this was happening. That's a whole lot of coincidences stacking up on top of each other. I don't know. Seems strange to me. But I'm no detective.
