Because your task is not to follow a fixed script, but to develop freedom. So the real question is not:“What is my task?” But: “How do I become the kind of person who can recognize and carry it out?” Steiner would point you to your own life: Look at what keeps returning. What challenges you. What demands effort. What you feel inwardly drawn toward. Your task is not hidden somewhere else. It is woven into your biography. But it is not just an outer mission. It is an inner process: Becoming more conscious. More truthful in your thinking. More responsible in your actions. More capable of love. Because you don’t fulfill your task by finding it, but by transforming yourself. And as that happens,your path becomes clearer. Not all at once, but step by step.
