@Canadaproud09@Jenny_1884 She was good… but, she was a pushover as far as Andrew was concerned. It’s good that Charles has done what she should’ve done.
@Jenny_1884 I agree and I never thought I would. Her late Majesty Queen Elizabeth II was amazing a true stateswoman. Charles and Andrew, I despair. This is not my monarchy, he is not my King.
Prince William will be just as bad as his Dad.
I’m sorry to say this but the monarchy should be abolished.
I’ve always been a monarchist but I’m done with them now.
Here is the taxpayer funded “Firm” doing their Easter parade, a pack of frumpy parasites led by William and Kate, all smiles and side eyes from the crowd.
We pay for over 1,200 royal household staff, multiple castles, mansions and palaces kept in perfect nick, private jets, and the whole medieval circus.
Sovereign Grant is now £132.1 million this year, up a cheeky 53% (£45m more) thanks to offshore wind farm windfalls we never see.
@RepublicStaff puts the real bill at over £510 million once you add hidden security, duchy “lost” revenue and council costs.
All so a gang of unelected toffs can swan about in taxpayer subsidised ermine while the rest of Britain scrapes by.
Boos from the public say it all. These aren’t public servants, they are scroungers in crowns.
Enough. Bin the monarchy, bin the Sovereign Grant, and spend the money on schools, hospitals and people who actually earn their keep.

Should the next Bond be a woman?
The race to replace 007 is heating up — and now actress Sydney Sweeney has been tipped as a surprise contender.
But should Bond break tradition and be reimagined as a woman — or should 007 stay true to its roots?
@JeremyVineOn5 I don’t think James is a very good name for a woman.
Why feel the need to tinker? The whole story is about a male spy.
Should Miss Marple be played by a man?! Of course not.
It’s unnecessary simply to appease a minority.
@TonyMaris2@JeremyVineOn5 It is a "contributory benefit," meaning eligibility depends on your NI record (usually 35 years for the full new state pension).
As a host of benefit pay-outs increase today - can Britain afford it?
The state pension is rising, larger families could receive more cash and those on universal credit or disability support will get increased payments too.
But can the country afford it?
@JeremyVineOn5 The pension should not be means tested, those who have surplus wealth can pass it on to their grandchildren. If you paid into a scheme and did well for yourself why should you lose out?
@lyndapriestley1@JeremyVineOn5 If you read it properly the question is can the country afford it.
Jezza isn’t in today. He doesn’t write the questions, he hosts the show.
@JeremyVineOn5 He is if you read it properly. People who work for employers who rely on UC to top up low wages and people who are on disability benefits will get a few pence extra a week. As usual, Jezza trying to generate an attack on the working classes
Are cycle lanes a waste of money?
One in the West Midlands has cost over £4,000 for every metre - totalling to over £5 million.
It's been branded a "monumental waste of money" by local residents, who say it would have been better spent on fixing potholes.
What do you think?
@CHERRYW00609336@ShakeLS@DianeFurminger Might I suggest N°519? The date of the (her words) “televised spectacle” instead of her (words again) “real wedding three days earlier”.
It reeks of bullshit… you’ll love it! @DianeFurminger 😆
@CHERRYW00609336@ShakeLS@DianeFurminger Now, off you trot and treat yourself to one of those white label candles Markle repackaged and numbered after dates that are “special and significant” to her.
Prince Harry getting security and visiting the UK in July maybe with his wife and children will mean one thing. He can visit his mother's family, her grave, show his kids his country. It's going to be everyday stories about Charles not wanting to see him but we all know the reality would be, Harry would be free to visit the UK without the Palace controlling those visits. He won't be giving any shit. He could bring the kids anytime he wanted and completely stay away from that toxic parent Charles and family. And Charles and William can't have that. They can't have Harry being in the UK working with charities, showing the kids around, going to Althorp. That's why Harry needs to be Extra Extra careful. As for Meghan i really don't want her in the UK but IMO she will never let the kids visit without her. These people are crazy they are definitely going to try and harm them. I can see the Sussex family visiting Althorp on Princess Diana birthday. Staying there.
