1. Fry bacon in pan.
2. Take bacon out, add beans in the same pan in the bacon fat. (you can eat bacon or add it to beans, your choice)
3. Big knob of butter, salt, pepper, and a good splash of worcestershire sauce.
4. Wait until it thickens, serve

I’ve purchased several “tins” of Heinz (British) beans because the idea of beans on toast intrigues me.
