(1/2) 🎉 We're very proud of @Geunyong3 who received best paper award at this years microTAS for his great work on ultra-sensitive protein detection with a Microfluidic Sieve detector (MSD) consisting of 🦇Brownian Affinity Traps (BATs)🦇!

As the Montréal weather is slowly becoming less hot, one can supplement it with some very hot pots at Soup Zen!

The Juncker Lab took the opportunity to let off some steam before the fall semester kicks off with a lab retreat in beautiful Saint-Agathe-des-Monts! Thanks to some great brainstorming sessions (and Andy's selfie stick) we were able to look at ourselves from a fresh perspective!

We're so proud of DOCTOR(!) Rosalie Martel who successfully defended her thesis on Multiplexed antibody microarrays for the analysis of inner and outer extracellular vesicle proteins in colorectal cancer liver metastasis! 🎉 🎓

🎬 ...and that's a wrap on the 15th Annual Hands-on Workshop in 3D Printing and Microfluidics for Bioengineering! The final day saw the participants 3D-print their creative design solutions for this year's challenge: creating a hydrogel-Integrated Multi-Organ-On-a-Chip!

The second day of the workshop invovled additional hands-on sessions, and creativity has been flowing as the teams started working on their design challenge: creating a hydrogel-Integrated Multi-Organ-On-a-Chip!

The keynote lecture on Additive Manufacturing of Hydrogels for Biomedical Applications will be held by Prof. Jason A. Burdick from University of Colorado Boulder TODAY May 29th at 3:30 - 4:30 PM in Auditorium 2/36, Strathcona Anatomy and Dentistry Building!

Participants then got to attend hands-on sessions in CAD using both Fusion360 and FLUI'DEVICE from @EdenTechParis as well as 3D-printing, ELISA-on-chip, replica molding and diffusion-based gradient devices! Delicious Kimbap bowls from Atti for lunch!

The 15th Annual Hands-on Workshop in 3D-Printing and Microfluidics for Bioengineering is underway! Lectures on 3D-printing and microfluidics by Dr. Vahid Karamzadeh, and Prof. Thomas Gervais were followed by a lecture and live demo(!) on bioprinting hosted by @CELLINK3D
