A lot of DJs have bad taste, which is kind of a problem because you’re… you know.. picking songs. DJ twitter will argue in circles about irrelevant shit like the sync button or using this or that mixer, when the correct conversation should be “look at your shoes.”

@djbellafiasco I mean, if a dj is making hella edits and preplanning for sets or tricks, I dunno why you’d use stems…I mean for freestyle purposes I dig it. But I still don’t believe it’s a “MUST USE” function. Plus it still leaves artifacts in stems which as a producer I hate to hear.

DJ’d a party recently where I was the only DJ all night who didn’t use stems their entire set and idk but I felt like that was equivalent to me being that DJ that’s still on scratch live 😭

@KIDDSTAR Yeah… I want no money. I’ve such seen “influencer” going viral and everyone and their mom used the sound and they built a huge following from it 😂 wondering if I could use it for my brand as well somehow. was searching for some best practices when you have such a situation

I uploaded a dj mix, live recorded on a gig to IG a couple weeks ago & now literally every football team ⚽️ on this planet is using this sound for their reels. Barca, Bayern, ManU, Liverpool, Inter, Dynamo & even the FIFA World Cup. today also Formula One. what I need to do now?

@ESKEI83 I had songs picked up by NFL, NBA & WNBA. Only thing I got out of it was business contacts and business down the road. No payments, per se. Hell you could track down money via your publishing. But that’s a task onto itself nowadays…

@ESKEI83 If there your tracks contact their marketing and/or entertainment director. Those names should be easily accessible through each teams website. Email, call and show up in person at their front door letting them know those are your songs. If it’s just a mix, can’t do much
