Now the loan quality goes from a credit tenant rating (usually AAA+) to ??? I always felt queazy about so-called “credit tenant” loans getting such unrealistically high ratings (e.g., Bed, Bath & Beyond, Macy’s, etc.), and made some CMBS folks feel very uncomfortable with my comments.
