【What happened to me over the past few months】 Hello, Caro here. Thank you all so much for your well wishes. I've now settled into the new home. Many of you may have noticed that I've been completely inactive on social media for the past few months. I'll now start to explain why, and tell you what happened during those months. In early January, because some artists were attacked for drawing female characters by haters, I spoke up. I mentioned on my country's social media platform that ‘Although Tavern of Spear is a game featuring only M/M content, most of the characters are actually bisexual.’ And then these haters just exploded, haha. Then, a girl asked in my comments, 'Does this mean female players can also start to be recognized as valid players of TOS?' I replied, 'Sure. Although I won't add BG content to the game because of this, I welcome players of any gender or sexual orientation to play TOS.' And that's when the haters absolutely lost their minds. They started calling me a ‘bisexual mutt,’ then began attacking the female players, and attempted to pressure me into making a statement to distance myself from them. Even though I kept explaining, there were just too many of them. They kept editing screenshots of my words to twist what I originally meant, and constantly spread rumors to draw in more people who didn't know the truth to attack me. After they started threatening to report me to the government here to have me thrown in jail, I had no choice but to go silent til now. And they are still attacking me now: Even though I posted a few days ago that I've been married to my husband for two years, they started spreading new rumors, confidently insisting that in the future I will cheat on my marriage with women. As now that I can finally speak up again, I want to reiterate my stance: 【Although Tavern of Spear will only contain M/M content, players of all genders and sexual orientations are always welcome to play and create fan works. I maintain a zero-tolerance policy toward all forms of gender discrimination, sexual orientation discrimination, and exclusionary behavior.】 Since I've been under constant attack for nearly three months now, I don't plan to give these haters the right to argue any further—at least not in this post. I've already blocked quite a few people before (when they were attacking other artists on Twitter), but I'm sure they'll still show up in the comments.
