At King’s Cross Academy, we talk a lot about being ready, respectful and safe. This term, we are adding something even more powerful to the heart of our community - the value of KINDNESS!

This week, as part of our Rights Respecting School journey, we are focusing on Article 16 of the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child: every child has the right to privacy.

Article 3 reminds us that the best interests of the child must always come first. In every decision we make, big or small, children’s safety, happiness and wellbeing should be at the heart of it. This week we’re celebrating our commitment to putting children first, always.

Please remember to book your Parent–Teacher Interview (PTI) appointment. PTIs for all Year 1 to Year 6 pupils will be taking place later this month, and appointments can be booked directly via Arbor.

Well done do all the pupils of Yousafzai House who have won the Autumn Term Cup! We can't wait to celebrate with pupils by visiting an adventure playground together in January.
