If you’re willing to break the record for guaranteed money to a running back, you don’t need to draft one at all. You can just sign an elite back in free agency and use that extremely valuable pick on a position that saves you money. Cardinals get the biggest F- draft grade ever

I don’t understand why people can’t realize that a rookie QB has a learning curve that can stunt an offense’s growth initially.

They’re actually one of the unluckiest teams with the draft
They had a 82% chance to have a top-5 pick in 2021, along with a 25% to get TWO and they ended up with zero.
They also had a 40% chance at the Sixers pick last year

Uh are we just forgetting that he had a concussion, appendicitis and two separate heel injuries? 😭 There were also many plays where JB7 just straight missed him wide open (late in the GB game). He also didn’t get 15+ targets multiple times. Just needs more targets imo

His true shooting in the regular season was 63.7%. Certainly didn’t plummet against the Nuggets.

Shai’s TS% plummeted in the playoffs last year. If he can demonstrate this level of play for 4 rounds, then we can have a conversation. But at the end of the day, the regular season is just that, the regular season. That’s why every year on opening weekend of the playoffs we’re so surprised at how different the game looks.
