Right now, Lens is still in Phase One. @KimmoOrb emphasised the focus is on usability through backend improvements, rather than protocol changes. Lens remains permissionless. Phase Three: Growth. @suji_yan shared that growth only comes after usability and integration are fixed. The goal is to make decentralised social easy to use and interesting again, so builders would return.

On 21 Feb, @LC hosted its first AMA under its new stewardship. Co-hosted by @masknetwork and @LC, @suji_yan and @KimmoOrb answered community questions spanning crypto markets, product design, and technical architecture. They broke down what’s next for Lens, and the roadmap is clear

Hey has been open source from day one and will continue that way. From here on, we’re shifting to a non profit approach. Anyone can fork the project and run their own instance if they wish. We’ll stay available for bug fixes, maintenance and migration support.

.@yoginth has chosen to go a different path, but @heydotxyz remains open source and open to community contributions. We wish Yogi the best with this new stage. For people looking for a browser experience, we highly recommend @socllyhq and for mobile of course @orb_club is always there for you.
