I think some have forgotten what wrestling is really about. These made-up rules and "quotas" fans put on title reigns don’t matter at the end of the day. It really is about creating a moment and making people feel something. I genuinely think once everything plays out, the people mad about Darby Allin winning the title will not be as upset when his run is done and MJF eventually wins it back at Double or Nothing or whenever they do it. I'm happy for Darby. He earned this. I'm excited to watch his run in AEW no matter how long it lasts.

Give me a Team NJPW vs Team AEW 5 v 5 Elimination match at Forbidden Door. Yota Tsuji, Yuya Uemura, Ryohei Oiwa, Shota Umino & Oleg Boltin I’d have these guys make spot appearances on Dynamite and Collision during Best of the Super Juniors, and use this as a big spot to get the new crop of guys over. Would be huge for the long term future of FD if Tsuji and whoever were sole survivors of a victorious team NJPW on this show. Other matches you could do: KOB vs Bucks, some kind of United Empire stable fight, and your obligatory appearances from Shingo and ZSJ.
