I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, the quickest way to unite the fans and restore faith is winning football matches, Eckert will do that. The punishment didn’t meet the crime, we didn’t go 21 unbeaten because we spied. We were just stupid and extremely naive. Also, yes he might get banned, this isn’t what we’re talking about here.

Delighted as a Sunderland fan, but for me it’s bittersweet knowing what happened to Southampton fans. I lived there. I love my friends there. They should be celebrating too. Let down badly by their management.
