My old man is the shit. Like many little boys, he was my hero growing up. But, as I got older, he stayed my hero. He’s spent his life making art for the struggle. He inspired not just Banksy but a whole generation of ‘street artists’. His show at Whitechapel is on til 19 Jan.

Well the 2024 final bag count numbers are in - 1203 bags collected this year. Large bags between 6 - 10kgs each so say 8kgs each thats 9624 kgs which is 9.4 UK tons. Then there are all the kiddy scribble tags I removed or painted over & weeding, sweeping, flytipping reported.
