@AmasaChan This got me thinking about doing all 3 together chimera style.
Story would go something like this:
A brave and proud knight goes one of his many quests, but on it he gets cursed by a witch, anytime he is to take his sword out of it’s sheath he gets animal attributes added to him.

@Rhymestyle Developing a mystery visual novel with me as the writer, @KuroSimbaDraws as the artist, @makros35 as the music composer, and others who aren’t on twitter as developers.
These are a small teaser of what the characters will look like.

@StudioLinterna Though I guess that’s also how she’d react when assigned a normal task as well

@KuroSimbaDraws @miss___potatoes Yo that’s me I photo bombed this guy’s reply
English

@miss___potatoes I do this weird mix of modern character art and cool fantasy stuff, care to take a look?

@AmasaChan A name that represents them is as important if not more so even than being able to describe them. I do agree with that, though I find that in my personal taste there is a weight to latin and greek that does draw me in.
Russian and Japanese are great though as well I agree.
English

@MRLinterna3 I actually would love to expand to more language, Russian for exemple !
I would usually do French, English or even Japanese, asking some friends !
For me, I love to choose name (especially for characters) that fit same like a skin ! I love making sure they have a fitting name
English

@StudioLinterna @makros35 I was torn between giving her actual job position and just putting The Goofball instead
English

@KuroSimbaDraws I asked our dear humans, though I guess you aren’t that far excluded from that biological list yourself
English

@MRLinterna3 Personally it would be
Having an idea you believe was so out there and original
Then showing it to someone, and hearing them go "ah like x from y"
When you have never known what x was, so you check it out...and they're right.
English

@AmasaChan Latin, Greek, and German. That’s my go to trifecta. Other than that I use culture and factions if I want a thematic point to get through to the reader. It’s fairly simple once you have a system in place, but then the issue becomes choosing one of your many options.
English

@MRLinterna3 I do the same ! Checking multiple languages can help a LOT, whatever it is to name character or places or objects !
English

@AmasaChan We face some more than similar struggles in that case though one thing I always find myself doing is check different languages for inspiration.
Depending on the theme of the character a great thing to do is go to either your own some other culture for help!
English

@StudioLinterna I am very excited to reveal this specific specimen of a character

English

KuroSimbaDraws(Art Commissions)@KuroSimbaDraws
