What do you mean I go to my nearest Spar the manager is Zimbabwean , few weeks later the cashiers are zimbabeans, jiki jiki the car guards who were working outside to guard cars are now inside packing stock in the isles,what happened to all the South Africans that were there ? The High Court in Mpumalanga has sentenced two foreign national men to 25 years' direct imprisonment for the brutal murder of their elderly employer. Andile Sibusiso Shongwe (26) and Muzi Mandoza Jele (29) were found guilty of murdering 74-year-old Magdalene Johanna Coetzee, a woman they had worked for and trusted for years. On 13 October 2024, the pair went to her home in Carolina, attacked and suffocated her to death. They then ransacked the house and stole her belongings. Their crime didn’t go unnoticed, a concerned neighbour later discovered her body. Days after the murder, the suspects were caught trying to sell her laptop, which led to their arrest. Both denied the charges in court, but strong evidence and witness testimonies secured their conviction. The robbery sentence (15 years) will run alongside the murder sentence, meaning they will serve 25 years behind bars.
