This is what happens when institutions fail to put proper procedures in place: ❌ Victims of harassment are left in limbo. ❌ Perpetrators walk on technicalities. ❌ And justice? Lost in a bureaucratic mess. Reform isn’t just overdue—it is a necessity.

4/4 This outcome is devastating—not only for the victims involved but also for anyone who might consider coming forward in the future. The EP must do better. An external audit is long overdue.

3/4 Simply having a procedure is not enough—it must be fair & respected. Procedures safeguard rights, ensure accountability & build trust. Without them, institutions fail the very people they are meant to protect.

‼️ 1/4 @MeTooEP has always called for an external audit of the harassment procedure. Once again, the @European_EN has failed to protect victims due to procedural mistakes. The decision has now been annulled on procedural grounds—leaving victims without justice

It should be a given that all staff are safe from harassment. While mandatory training is a step in the right direction, real change requires large changes in administrative structures, commitment & a culture where harassment is never tolerated. ☝️Training alone is not enough!
