Mmm yea. Tbh its kinda apart of the learning process tho. Like when youre learning to speak up for yourself youre gonna have trouble finding that balance because its new. Obv not okay to be mean but its predictable to have that lil phase.

When people are passive for so long and then suddenly they grow a pair and start “standing up for themselves” it’s always a trainwreck at first bc there’s a *learning curve* to it, and they come out the gate being mean, bitter, & misdirecting their anger.

The reason so many shows are set in the 80s and 90s is cellphones make like 50% of plots obsolete. Contact anyone at any time, find almost any piece of knowledge, it's very difficult to get lost.
Same reason Star Trek has "oh, communications are blocked" every 2nd episode.

Black capitalists play stupid all day. Anyone is ✨allowed✨ to like or dislike whatever they please and that is a very different thing than using political, industry, and media networks to push and lobby for Black cities to have more resources and jobs taken from them. Spare me.

Some of you kids today might not realize this, but there was a period of time shortly after 9/11 when the thought of living in a state of constant digital surveillance was somewhat controversial.

i once dated someone and we got into a playful argument about why they wouldn’t share location “i’m a very private person, this feels like it’s moving too fast, that’s a big step” months later, after it didn’t work out, we were friends and i said “ok i need your location for logistics” he admitted the real reason he wouldn’t share it was because he never left the house and didn’t want anyone to see
