Yeah that’s true. But isn’t that the whole point? @RanveerOfficial acted soo good and @AdityaDharFilms exceptional direction made the movie phenomenal. If both acting and direction was mediocre, movie would have flopped? They gave their best so now everyone is praising them, what’s wrong with that?

@MichaelScottDM0 Of course all the oodles of praise naturally flows once a movie strikes gold! Literally everything in this D franchise is director's and his technical team's craftsmanship. A for effort for Ranveer but there's no way he's become a better actor

I was never a Ranveer Singh fan. Loved his work but the loud personality, the over the top outfits outside movies was too much for me. Dhurandhar changed that. And it got me thinking about how badly India treats his craft. This man has played a street rapper, a historical emperor, a cricket legend, a Maratha warrior and disappeared completely into every single one. No two performances look like the same person. When he locked himself in for Khilji and needed therapy, people laughed. Called it attention seeking. Even fellow actors took digs at him. Heath Ledger does it, he is a legend. Ranveer does it, its drama and attention seeking. We just aren't used to an Indian actor taking his craft this seriously. So we mock it instead. Took me long enough but I get it now. 🤷 #RanveerSingh #Bollywood

Sara Tendulkar is trending because she is spending her father's money. Apparently, that is a crime now. And let me tell you something. The day Arjun Tendulkar, who is doing great on his own, decides to do anything outside cricket, these same people will be in his comments saying exactly the same thing. Half of these people are working in family businesses, living in ancestral property or got their first job through a relative. But when a famous person's kid does the exact same thing suddenly it is a character flaw. The hypocrisy is genuinely breathtaking. Same father. Same money. Different gender. Funny how that works. #SaraTendulkar #ArjunTendulkar

To everyone calling Dhurandhar a hate filled or communal film, I have one simple question. Give me one scene. One dialogue. One moment in the film where it actively tries to demean or instigate hate against any community. Just one. A Sikh spy going undercover to dismantle a terror network is not an attack on any religion. The villains in the film are not a religion. They are criminals. There is a difference and it is not a subtle one. Every country in the world makes spy films based on real geopolitical threats. Nobody calls those films hateful. The moment India does it, suddenly it is propaganda and communal. You can dislike the film. You can criticise the screenplay, the runtime, the politics behind it. That is all fair. But calling it a hate film without pointing to a single hateful moment is not criticism. It is just noise. Watch the film first. Then talk. #Dhurandhar #RanveerSingh

India is a third world country. We worship cows. We worship dogs during our festivals. We worship other animals, birds, trees, the sun, the moon, the earth, rivers and oceans. We fold our hands in front of the very nature that brought us into this world. If that makes us third world then we wear that label with absolute pride. There is no shame here. Only gratitude for what sustains us. At least we do not need a therapy session to talk to our parents. At least our elderly do not die alone in old age homes. At least we don't eat ....... Call us third world. We are good. #India #Sanatan

@MichaelScottDM0 Many people do this. They take their work very seriously but off work they need to blow steam so they act silly.

This is genuinely the best time to be alive if you follow geopolitics. POTUS has lost the plot completely. Iran is out here trolling world superpowers better than any meme page. Europe is still crying about money while pretending to be a global power. I am cooked! #Geopolitics #India

@sehr_chic @neo_one_one I did and loved it. I hope he does similar scripts from now on and not something like Circus!

@AnAspirant321 As I said at the beginning of the post, I loved his work, but it got overshadowed by his public persona which I couldn't understand and still won't. But post-Dhurandhar I think I am ready to look beyond his public appearances with weird styling and just be a fan of his craft.

I've always said it - Channing Tatum in a comedy is genuinely one of the most entertaining things you can watch. The man has flawless comedic timing. 21 Jump Street, This Is The End, The Lost City. Every single time he shows up in a comedy he is the funniest person on screen. And that cameo in Bullet Train with Brad Pitt. Absolute genius. Two of the most naturally funny guys in Hollywood sharing a scene together and it was everything. There is something about the way he delivers a joke that just works perfectly. Completely natural. Never forced. Genuinely fascinating actor when he is being funny. #ChanningTatum
cinesthetic.@TheCinesthetic

That moment in 22 Jump Street (2014) when Channing Tatum realizes who the captain’s daughter is and completely loses it.

@MichaelScottDM0 His loud personality didn't filter into his acting ever until the role required him to so maybe it was just you were prejudiced. I have always liked him as an actor without bothering about his loud clothes and persona outside of a movie.

@MichaelScottDM0 For anyone to take him serious, he needed a good movie, we always knew he had range, it was rly hard to tke him serious, bcs we saw him most of the time out of the movies doing really weird stuff, it took all the attention away from his mediocre movies. Dhurandhar changed that
