Pound for pound, no Pirate is being asked to do more in 2026 than Jared Triolo. In a way, he’s their most important player this season.

Overall, Griffin finishes his spring hitting .171 with a .749 OPS in 16 games.
Let the kid tear up some Triple A and we'll see him in June.

Wow so Konnor Griffin was offered a contract extension?
All this tells me is he should make the team if he takes it then.

I still have no idea what the Pirates plan is for catcher.
They have Henry Davis, Endy Rodriguez, Joey Bart, and Rafael Flores.
I still think Bart gets traded before the season starts because there isn’t room for all 4 of these guys and I think they are still high on Endy.

Yes, he went 0 for 3. But Konnor Griffin had one of the more impressive 0-3 days I've seen:
- a grounder he beat to first but was called out
- a 106 mph warning track flyout into the wind
- a 109 mph lineout to right
Again, 0 for 3. But the eye test didn't match the box score.
