Why are all of these foods potential choking hazards for babies and small children? Size, shape and consistency! Hard, round foods that do not dissolve in the mouth and cannot be chewed properly by babies or toddlers without molars are a risk for choking.

I have had a lovely afternoon with the preschool children at Appletree Corner Daycare in Witham St Hugh’s. Our 45 minute interactive Early Years class is perfect for Infant schools. We use singing, role play and story telling to introduce the idea of First Aid. #minifirstaid
