This is happening because in 2023 we finally got @MetroTransitMN its own new funding from the state legislature. Before that, projects like this were dependent on counties. This is how you take #ClimateAction and build #TransitEquity. 🚍🌎

I am beside myself at this news. That literally overnight, one of the region's largest transit projects just doubled in length in a move no one saw coming. No years of studies and engagement and agitating for funding. Metro Transit just did it. THIS IS HOW IT'S SUPPOSED TO WORK!
