First ship is contacting the bridges. Expect bridge lifts to begin momentarily and continue for the next couple hours

First Fleet Week ship has entered the Willamette River. Expected to reach downtown in about 1 hour. Bridge lifts anticipated to begin in about 45 minutes.

Ship Arrivals: **These are estimates and ship arrival times are subject to change. Wednesday, June 5: Expect six ships arriving with bridge lifts between 2:00 p.m. and 5:45 p.m. Lifts will be longer than normal, in some cases up to 45 minutes.

The Broadway and Burnside bridges will lift for ships arriving in Portland during the annual event that brings in U.S. Navy, U.S. Coast Guard and Canadian ships.

TRAFFIC ALERT: Fleet Week, which begins the week of June 3, will impact several downtown Portland bridges maintained by Multnomah County.
