Mid majors were always tricky to play against with their style of play. Now the high majors also play that style (high volume 3s) so it’s harder to beat teams at their own game.

Most of these first round games the mid majors have to shoot 60% from three for a chance because of size difference. People with this take aren’t box score watchers, they are ball knowers

You are also being dumb here. Teams are seeded way better now than they were. The RPI created a lot of upsets with underseeded teams that the net and wab have corrected.

Style of play has also changed and teams are seeded better. Plus a lot of 1 seeds lost in the tourneys leading up.

Teams are getting properly seeded better and the style of play has changed so it’s harder to pull upsets.
