@soflosports06 @BKHockeyTalk It’s all good. Easy to forget when they lost like 18 straight playoff games from 2004-2023 lol.

@CTCorbett @Phil_Leotardo_1 @tnoieNDI @NDmbb Michigan and Louisville flipped their programs from 8 wins to safe tournament teams. The AD only cares about football which is sad for a great university

@Phil_Leotardo_1 @tnoieNDI @NDmbb Pete B isn’t an idiot. They must know they can’t compete this year, so they will figure out what the reset looks like and owe this guy one less year on a buyout. I would think he would be booed relentlessly but it’s more likely we play in front of 100 people, mostly parents.

Source: @NDmbb coach Micah Shrewsberry is not a finalist for the Butler University coaching job. There is no dialogue with Butler, nothing behind the scenes with anyone from Butler. Shrewsberry will return for his fourth year at Notre Dame. Maybe too a fifth, sixth and seventh.

@CricketSurfing @Os_poems It’s always been that way… maga is for making America great until it’s time to make America great. Better roads would be one of those things.

@NFLguy54 @Os_poems Disagree on that one. Not that I necessarily want the money spent on Israel; I mean: highway funding should not be centralized. That is why it is so enormously inefficient.

@Os_poems This is a project in Maryland. I am a voter from Texas (yes, I currently live in Italy, but Texas is my home state). Why on earth are taxpayers from Texas funding a project in Maryland???

@GamecockAP @caro_gamecock96 Then switched backed to South Carolina in 1877. And finally changed back in 1906. Southern Cal has been USC since it was founded in 1880. So again Southern Cal has been usc longer and has a trademark on the name.

@MeggieSkywalk Tell me you failed math without telling me you failed math. USC has held the name USC since it opened and has a trade mark. South Carolina was called South Carolina college and had a good amount of different names till 1906.

@caro_gamecock96 South Carolina was South Carolina college until 1906. So yes USC has held the name longer than South Carolina. Plus Southern Cal holds a trade mark for the name usc.

@MarkDelFig9sga @HoopzMizzou @_Tide18Tymes That always been the case to pull off upsets. One of the big reasons too is sift in play. Mid majors were always tricky to play against with their style of play. Now the high majors also play that style (high volume 3s) so it’s harder to beat teams at their own game.

@NFLguy54 @HoopzMizzou @_Tide18Tymes If you’ve watched every March madness you can see how much of a talent gap this has become. Most of these first round games the mid majors have to shoot 60% from three for a chance because of size difference. People with this take aren’t box score watchers, they are ball knowers

@HoopzMizzou @_Tide18Tymes I wouldn’t rule out programs like Gonzaga SLU and VCU getting mid major basketball back in the sweet 16… You are also being dumb here. Teams are seeded way better now than they were. The RPI created a lot of upsets with underseeded teams that the net and wab have corrected.

@HoopzMizzou @_Tide18Tymes If you’re a box score watcher then sure but the games were good. A lot of teams pulled away late in the game but there were some major scares.

@NFLguy54 @_Tide18Tymes 20+ blowouts isn't good games. The gap of talent from the P5 teams and mid-majors is wider than ever. Its like you're purposely missing the point.

@HoopzMizzou @_Tide18Tymes And in the past few years we have seen good games from the 13-16 seeds but no upsets. That happens sometimes. The end of the day if the games are good who cares. Style of play has also changed and teams are seeded better. Plus a lot of 1 seeds lost in the tourneys leading up.

@NFLguy54 @_Tide18Tymes Since 1992 there has only been 7 times where a team seeded 13-16 did not win a game. It has now happened in back to back years.

@WoahJimJimbo @_Tide18Tymes We were one crazy shot from this being an only this year thing and also we had many very good games from mid majors against power schools. Idk why this is a big deal. Teams are getting properly seeded better and the style of play has changed so it’s harder to pull upsets.

@duejnssjsnsshh @_Tide18Tymes It took Maryland hitting a buzzer beater for this to be the case this year. If Gonzaga had their big man this wouldn’t be the case in all likelihood.

@_Tide18Tymes Considering this is the first time in back to back years we dont' have a mid-major in the Sweet 16 and no teams seeded 13-16 winning a game, what makes you think its not over?
