When Rural Ontario succeeds, Ontario succeeds. #2026ROMA was a valuable opportunity to connect with municipalities from across the province, including my home community of Northumberland–Peterborough South, and hear directly about what communities need to grow. From mining and forestry in the North to construction, manufacturing, and hospitality across Ontario, skilled workers are the backbone of local economies. Our government is ensuring workers have the skills to succeed and the opportunities to use them in their own communities.
