Storm Update as of 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, Sept. 24 - Sarasota County is currently under a Hurricane Watch and because of the expected intensification of Potential Tropical Cyclone 9, Sarasota County has declared a local state of emergency

Checked on our deputies at @TGHCares this morning, Deputy Santos has a bilateral break in his leg with extensive ligament damage and will require surgery. He and his wife are in good spirits and TGH is taking great care of them.
