To Pakistanis celebrating that a few countries did not come for G20 in Srinagar, let me give you a wake up call. 1. Except for a few country’s delegates, all have come to Srinagar. The majority are already there. 2. It doesn’t matter if China and 3-4 others did not come. India has announced to the world that a global event can be successfully held in Kashmir, safe from Pakistani terrorists. 3. Next time the US President, President of France or the Prime Minister of UK come to India, we will welcome them in Kashmir. Yes, the same guys who don’t even pick up your PM’s call. 4. G20 attendance is not the end, as many Pakistanis seem to think. Rather, it is the beginning of many state visits to the Kashmir Valley. Expect a whole lot of Presidents, PMs, Foreign Ministers and Corporate honchos to land in Srinagar in the future. Also expect a lot of Indian and foreign films to be shot there, apart from a deluge of foreign tourists. 5. From now onwards, India will ensure that all possible diplomatic traffic is diverted to Kashmir. More foreign country’s representatives have come to Srinagar today (only on one day), than to entire Pakistan in the last 10 years combined. Pakistan should lobby to create a group called G150 and then lobby to find a place in it. It’s going to be tough, but don’t forget to enjoy the challenge. Don’t be jealous of India’s success, Pakistanis. Whenever you get stuck at airports abroad and a K9 is sniffing your leg, remember what I said. Lastly, ask yourselves…you have not been able to give people of PoK a decent bus stand and yet you have the temerity to ask questions about Kashmir.
