Aguila Trades, popularly known for his bearish stances on HYPE amongst CT, is now up $2M on his latest BTC long position - despite being down -$32M overall on his Hyperliquid trading account. The majority of his account losses stemmed from shorting Hyperliquid as it surged towards new highs and breached $40 this past month. He had initially taken a short around $99k on BTC amidst escalating tensions in the middleeast that led to a sell-off in TradFi and crypto markets. But he recently closed the BTC short at a loss as Bitcoin resurged from $98,000 towards $103,000.
