I know people are freaking out about Tifa in Street Fighter 6 with either being super pissed about it or super stoked. Some have rolled their eyes and think this is all bs. My take is to wait and see since Summer Game Fest and other events are just around the corner. 😊🔥🔥

I don't think you can save Marathon because it was doomed from the start. Bungie took a dead IP, changed everything about it visually and then made it into a niche version of an already niche genre. Realistically, there's no 2.0 revival or f2p pivot they could do to entice people

Seeing the success of Capcom's Resident Evil franchise over the years and especially how Resident Evil Requiem sold 6M copies so far: I want Square Enix to change things up and make a brand new IP that is survival horror focus similar to Capcom's IP or bring back Parasite Eve ⬇️

@J19_Gaming89 Yeah he can be walking outside of a building , find an access point that connects all electronics in the building (Including the people because everyone is chipped up) and he can kill everyone from outside then walk in and loot whatever he wants , it's pretty cool

@jingelhymer As someone who avoids EVERY fight in this game , I still don't see the appeal of attacking someone else , when I could just grab loot around the map hide and extract

Marathon is a rouge lite with PvP. The point of rouge lites is as you progress and get better gear you become stronger. Marathons whole thing is BECOME GOD. sbmm in an extraction shooter where one of the variable of your skill is gear progression means eventually you will match top players as you progress your factions and start getting better gear and gain an edge against other teams. Its why Extraction shooters and Marathon have a wipe every 3-4 months. its not an Arena shooter where everyone starts off on the same foot. You can take out a team better than you if you come in better prepped. PvE enemies also create instances where you can catch better teams off guard. There are so many different ways a fight can go down in an extraction shooter and thats kind of why extraction shooters are fun. Even as a top player you dont know how the next fight is going to go. SBMM/GBMM also kills Zero to Hero moments where you do come out on top. You can catch a better team making a mistake, Fighting PvE Enemies, or not watching their back as they fight another team. coming in with sponsored kits and leaving with gold is rad. Level Based Matchmaking is fine to a degree (and from what we know thats what Bungie uses) and keeps Marathon in the spirit of what makes extraction shooters so exciting and addicting. TLDR; SBMM/GBMM is antithetical to what makes Extraction shooters exciting and fun.

@Neoconker2k8 I mean it was a mess on last gen consoles until CDPR updated it. The game played much better on PC and eventually on current gen.

@J19_Gaming89 I still remember at launch absolutely loving the game and then I checked the online reception and yeah I felt like I was playing a different game . People complaining about everything, move to nowadays and everyone loves it and says it had a redemption arc , still makes me lol

I am seeing a lot of posts about "What if GTA 6 cost $100 or more, would you still buy it?" My answer to that is no! Not buying a game at any price for a standard that is over $70, even it it is GTA 6. 😤

@J19_Gaming89 For me life is too short for me to worry about the cost of something if I know I'll find enjoyment and it wont hurt me financially
