With fragmented hardware, you get fragmented software releases. I don't necessarily agree with you that Nothing wants to be like Apple. I think the CEO and the team respect them, which is why they reference them a lot. But when am OEM isn't in complete control of hardware or software for that matter, things take a little more time. And again, the releases are fragmented because unfortunately that's the nature of Android.

Seems like a lot of people are upset that the latest nOS 4.1 update on the @nothing Phone (3) doesn't have lock screen depth effects. Personally, this doesn't bother me too much because I don't use it. For those that do, hopefully they will add it soon and it will also come to the rest of the devices that will receive 4.1 in the coming weeks. For now, I'm going to enjoy using the new Essential Voice feature and all the Gallery App features that were unlocked with 4.1.

I view products through the lens of trying to analyze the target demographic for which the products are made. This is why a lot of my posts read like paid PR. I've been a sales rep for 4 companies, sales manager for 2 companies, supplement store manager 3 stores, gym manager, been a brand ambassador for 6 supplement companies and was an assistant Manager at a T-Mobile store. I know a lot about sales. I also know that all products try to have a placement and fulfill a need and this is why I'm able to discuss and analyze various topics in a positive light and sometimes play devil's advocate with the general public opinion. I never thought of myself as PR but the more I think about it, that is kind of what I do naturally because I've been doing it for over 20 years now. I really should spruce up my resume and look for some job postings in tech.
