Kudos to the NY Knicks. They deserved this championship. But with what we've seen with so many violent and destructive celebrations and parades from fans across all sports, don't we at least have to ponder what we prioritize in our culture? Doesn't the mania of fans scare you at least a little bit? I don't think I'd like to be caught in the middle of one of these frenzied crowds. I wonder what kind of society we would have if we were this passionate about human rights, feeding the poor, healing the sick, or spreading peace and love? This may just be a dream, but am I the only one?
