Defeat for the U20s in their campaign opener Vs Tyrone. Hard to take after a great 3rd quarter, taking a foothold on the game. An Aidan Woods rocket in injury time put Tyrone level and they edged a point with the last poc of the game. Derry 2-17 Tyrone 3-15

I'm not sure if I've seen other outlets mentioning that St Eugene's, less than a mile from Nazareth House, is also closed because its application was not prioritised. Happy to be corrected. It's pretty important context to the story & shows it's not confined to one school.

Miles apart in Derry you have a school with 18 outdoor pitches, courts and sports halls. Other schools have no outdoor or indoor facilities. Yet we have an education department pouring money into schools with top class facilities instead of those with none. Sound right?
