@England Picking people like Josh King is a joke when there are great players like Jimi Tauriainen at Chelsea with so much more potential

@judekeenleyside @leewilsonDRFC I don’t think Hinshelwood failed tbh! Freakish to not go up that Barnet season, then sacked as York’s owner is a child. Definitely wouldn’t expect many of these to come in before the summer anyway. Couldn’t blame the top candidates for wanting to finish the job, and I like that.

@OnceADagger @leewilsonDRFC Ironically, that’s my reasoning for why I don’t think it’ll happen. I see him possibly reluctant to leave incase it fails again. It could be one you’d have to hold off for until the playoffs are done

Who will be Dagenham & Redbridge's next manager? Lee Bradbury's underwhelming nine-month spell in charge of Dagenham & Redbridge came to an end today. After an uncertain few years behind the scenes, it seems as if the Daggers are finally getting their act together in the boardroom. An attractive job with a club actively seeking to grow awaits. Let's seek out some potential candidates. @KSI @AnwarU01 @AndyTCarroll @OffTheLineBlog @trevk37 @Jimbokav1971 @SamuelCol1115 @tryan255 @tomhwilliams23 @doey04 @A9Mac @Love_non_league @NickMurphy1995 @CallumHallett6 @Lukewalshpod @p_franklin5 @TheDeckNL @NL_Bible @Goalkeeping111 @TomRist3

@judekeenleyside @leewilsonDRFC I think with Hinshelwood, IMO it comes down to whether the money and vision is there. It’s clear his love for Worthing, but he left them once before with York so I’d like to think why not again. Definitely blue sky thinking.

@leewilsonDRFC Superb Lee. The Cowley’s would be my obvious choice, but I think highly unrealistic, possibly the same could be said for Hinshelwood. Beyond that, Rowley, Parkinson & Allison seem like decent shouts. Where do you sit with Scott Davies?

@JimPars53543240 Because I think there were only two reasonable ways forward: 1) Sack him at the end of the season, save money on paying him off, bring in the right man then when free. 2) Sack him now, get an interim until the summer when the right man is available. Option 2 was cheaper!

@OnceADagger Serious question, why would you have kept him for 1 game more than was needed, knowing the season was as good as done and he was done in the long term? Definitely been decisive from the ownership which is in sharp contrast to Mr 'you can't keep sacking people' Thompson.

Whilst I wanted LB gone, I actually wouldn’t have done it now. But the fact they have sacked him is a promising indication of the ownership. Spent money when they didn’t have to, decisive and did it regardless of results, taking our time to find the right replacement. Nice.

And for the record - managers I’d want: Allinson, Peakes, Hinshelwood Managers I’d be ok with: Bartlett, Currie, Ardley Managers I don’t want: Cox Managers I’m terrified of it being: Mark Goldbridge

@leewilsonDRFC I think Cox in isolation can be taken seriously for a role like us given the Wealdstone spells. But his link to KSI is what worries me, and why I think we won’t go there. It sends the wrong message to fans at the very first opportunity. I don’t think AC & Anny are that naïve

@Diggerthedog1 @NickMurphy1995 Definitely would be spinning too many plates. Assuming that he’s now deciding to stay in football admin rather than coaching, despite not being too bad at it either. Defo could have had jobs if he wanted to

@NickMurphy1995 Yeah valid point he didn’t even cross my mind. Always had it in my head that it would be Carroll as a caretaker. Probably is a bit of PR, probably a bit of Carroll really wants to do it as part of his own prep for life after football

@OnceADagger I mean, Terry Harris is right there. Carroll creates more of a buzz PR wise I suppose which is probably why this is happening given our season is over.

@ScoutingHive What about the connections of the other people at the club? Like the former premier league and England player, the FA official and former non-league manager? We’re more than just one person, and the rest are much more connected in the game.

@OnceADagger Fair enough, wasn’t trying to suggest that. But his connections may well be utilised throughout player and manager recruitment I’d imagine.
