@fractal_bitcoin Did a small thing: one2three.io/fb-holders Today, I saw in the group that people mentioned the lack of a labeling function for FB addresses, and checking on UniScan was quite confusing. So, I used UniSat’s API to create a page for display. The data obtained from the API includes various unallocated pool wallets, which differs slightly from UniScan. UniScan’s leaderboard shows real user addresses, excluding this data. After users analyze the type of a certain address on the leaderboard, they can add a label and submit it. Once verified, it syncs to other users. The list displays rankings and changes in holdings for 1 day, 7 days, and 30 days. Everyone is welcome to submit and improve address labels. Looking forward to the on-chain Sherlock Holmes performances!

Community Update on brc-20 Upgrades We’re excited by BestInSlots’ announcement regarding BRC2.0 and its rollout timeline. Congratulations to the team—we look forward to the positive impact this upgrade will bring to the brc-20 ecosystem. In this update, we’ll cover: • What we learnt about the 6-byte brc-20 upgrade • Addressing questions from the community on indexer coordination • Progress on the brc-20 swap module and single-step transfer upgrades 🟧 6-byte brc-20 Assets As outlined in BestInSlots’ announcement, 6-byte brc-20 assets leverage EVM to enable smart contract functionality. We learnt that this upgrade will follow a two-phase process: 1. Phase 1 : The programmable 6-byte ticker undergoes rigorous testing to ensure stability and functionality. 2. Phase 2: Once sufficient testing has been completed, existing 4 and 5-byte brc-20 assets will be upgraded with support from indexing service providers. We are committed to full cooperation when Phase 2 arrives. Given the technical complexity of this upgrade, we anticipate significant engineering challenges for existing indexers, but we will dedicate the necessary resources to strive for successful implementation. 🟧 Question from our community: Why can 6-byte tickers be introduced on Bitcoin without coordination from other indexers? The 6-byte brc-20 tickers are new assets operating under fresh protocol rules, meaning they are independent from existing 4/5-byte tickers. As a result, BestInSlots can choose to proceed without requiring immediate indexer coordination, including UniSat indexer in Phase 1 when 4/5-byte tickers are unaffected. We designed the brc-20 swap module and single-step transfer upgrades to be used with existing 4-byte and 5-byte tickers, necessitating alignment across all indexers. 🟧 Question from our community: Is there any conflicts between Bitcoin and Fractal 6-byte brc-20 assets? We want to clarify that these newly enabled 6-byte tickers will not conflict with existing 6-byte tickers on Fractal Bitcoin. Should we need to bridge these assets to Fractal using SimpleBridge in the future, we can employ special characters like underscores to maintain compatibility. This approach mirrors how mainnet SATS tokens are represented as sSATS___000 on Fractal Bitcoin (fractal.uniscan.cc/brc20/sSATS___… ) without affecting user experience. 🟧 Update: Single-Step Transfer and brc-20 Swap Module UniSat is leading development for these upgrades, with the following rollout plan: 1. Fractal Mainnet Activation (Coming Weeks): Initial testing to ensure stability. 2. Bitcoin Mainnet Deployment: After Fractal testing succeeds and major indexers confirm support. Why This Approach? We believe this staged approach is the most prudent path forward. Every protocol upgrade carries inherent risks, and we want to ensure these features are battle-tested on Fractal before touching Bitcoin mainnet's core brc-20 protocol. We value the brc-20 protocol and the work that has been done to maintain the protocol. Additionally, we will only proceed with Bitcoin mainnet deployment after securing support from other major indexers to ensure smooth ecosystem-wide adoption. Current Status: We’re awaiting the restoration of OKX’s Fractal indexer, which is progressing well based on our communications. Once operational, we’ll proceed with the planned activation schedule.
