My latest post is up.. I have had the unique opportunity to use dozens of Centerpin reels over 30 years of Centerpin fishing and many clients want to know what I recommend and what to avoid, so here it is. You can see it at troutandsteelhead.net/best-float-fis…

Spring dates are booking up fast now. This year I'll be doing guided trips and guide lessons for 1 or 2 anglers.

I've been off the water for 3 weeks due to a back injury but I'm at it again now. The Sp1ke Cushions have been a great addition on my boat for sitting and rowing all day. vigurus.com flic.kr/p/2aZF7Vx

Planer mast & 2 Big Jon otter boards, $200.00 firm. Pick up in Orangeville. 1 board wasn't used, 1 board needs a couple screws for the weighted keel, 7 heavy clips included. Used it for musky. It needs a couple mounting screws for the base replaced. Email ontarioguide@gmail.com

If you were considering a guided steelhead trip with me this fall you better act fast. I only have 4 days available in November, and 2 days left in October. I also still have a few days in late September and early October if you want to try for salmon. flic.kr/p/pUr5iK

Sometimes when it rains hard the bigger rivers become dirty & unfishable but the little rivers can be just fine. But, this time of year all that rain often runs across miles of warm ground which means warmer water is entering the river in large amounts & that's bad for the fish.
