It’s both embarrassing and completely unnecessary that @davido , given a rare opportunity to showcase Nigeria on the world stage, chose instead to tell the world that Nigeria is not safe.
I couldn’t believe my eyes watching him perform at the FIFA World Cup opening ceremony while declaring that Nigeria is unsafe. In contrast, Burna Boy represented Nigeria in a very positive light, unlike Davido.
I hope his team or family sits him down and speaks to him in a language he’ll understand. You cannot continuously run down the country that made you who you are today and expect there to be no consequences.
Davido is not a role model for any Nigerian — he’s a b@d influence.

@vslkemo Them for tell TeddyA say even Bambam na Olosho, whether that in mumu laugh no go disappear... Foolish man
English

@Palermo_seun People that will comment and block you sha... Is it really impossible? We are tricked everyday by this illiterate politicians because we lack critical thinking, and think with our emotions. She no resemble person wey dey bush, even her nails are clean... Use your brain for once.
English

@Palermo_seun Two things can be true... Your observation is very sharp and on point. Someone is lying, either the security agency, the kidnappers, or even her. She looks too good for someone who has spent over 20 days in the bush... Check other victims and see the difference.
English

I saw this clip and would like to draw the attention of our security agencies to a few observations:
1. Her palms do not appear dirty.
2. Her teeth remain clean.
My opinion: I think the abductors only take them into the bush when they want to record videos.
I pray for their safe return 🙏

@Opulent_Maisha The same Dubai that legalized drinking of alcohol in designated areas, nude beaches and other circular practices is certain areas in their country, is that your definition of sharia? Compared to the one u practice here where you go around cutting dreadlock of innocent youths.

@PChugbo @TheGrandmaBoy E go shock you say the guns no go shoot... Wetin dey those men body pass ak47
English

@Chibeznwankwo @TheGrandmaBoy His response is not tribally motivated, but common sense. If trained Nigerian army with AK 47 are being over ran by this bandits, what faith do you have in mere hunters, Have you seen what an anti-tank gun can do to a man? This is suicide...
English

@TheGrandmaBoy You think the plateaus and the rest of the middlebeltans didn't do more than this? Just be patient 😆 🤣 😂

@Big_marvis Show me 1 nation practicing full Sharia law, and it's citizens are not suffering, and don't you dare mention UAE
English

Is Sharia law evil?
Most Christians don't really know what's sharia law is about, they just oppose it because it's Islamic thing.
This is not good. We need to always study and understand what people stand for before we criticise them.
Here are ten parts of Sharia law that people often point to when explaining why they don’t want it as the main law of a country.
1. Men and women are not treated as equals
Under strict Sharia, a woman’s word in court is sometimes worth only half of a man’s word. Also, if parents pass away, brothers get twice as much money or property as their sisters. Today, most people believe that boys and girls should have the exact same rights.
2. No freedom to change your religion
If someone is born Muslim or chooses to become Muslim, Sharia law says they are never allowed to leave the religion. If they switch to a different religion, it is considered a major crime, and the traditional punishment is death. Most of us believe everyone should have the freedom to choose their own faith without fear.
.
3. Very painful and violent punishments
For certain crimes, Sharia uses physical punishments. For example, a person caught stealing could have their hand cut off, and someone caught having an illegal relationship could be whipped in public or even killed with stones. Modern laws ban "cruel and unusual punishments," prison time and rehabilitation are suggested..
4. Forcing women to obey their husbands
Sharia teaches that a wife must obey her husband, especially when it comes to living with him and intimacy. Because of this, traditional Sharia courts do not really recognize the concept of marital rape (when a husband forces his wife to be intimate against her will).
But modern laws protect a woman's right to control her own body at all times, even if she is married.
5. No talking back or questioning the religion (Blasphemy)
If someone says something disrespectful about Islam, the Prophet Muhammad, or the Quran, it is called blasphemy. Under strict Sharia, this is a serious crime that can carry the death penalty. This stops people from having open debates, asking tough questions, or expressing their honest thoughts.
6. Non-Muslims are treated as second-class citizens
In a state completely ruled by Sharia, people of other religions (like Christians) are allowed to live there, but they don't have equal status. They often have to pay a special tax just for being non-Muslim and are restricted from sharing their faith or building new churches.
7. Allowing children to get married
Traditional Sharia does not have a strict age limit (like 18 years old) for marriage. Instead, it allows young girls to be married off once they hit puberty if their parents agree.
8. Divorce is much easier for men than women
A husband can divorce his wife very quickly just by saying "I divorce you" three times. But if a wife wants a divorce, she has to go through a long, difficult court process, prove her husband did something terrible, or pay him money to let her go.
9. It replaces the Constitution
In a democracy, the Constitution is the ultimate rulebook that protects everyone. Sharia claims that religious laws are higher than any human-made law. When religious law comes first, the rights of anyone who doesn't follow that exact religion are put at risk.
10. Perhaps I am wrong, I urge Muslims to educate us.

Call me a simp, but I will handle this situation an entirely different way.
I will step to the guy the moment he comes close to her and let him know that she is with me. Then I will watch her reaction to the status quo. Whether or not the guy walks away, if she starts giving off "you are insecure" vibes and still shows interest in what he wanted to do, I will walk away. But if she does not, I know I am with a real one.
Understand that guys will always approach a beautiful woman. It is your duty as a man to set boundaries around what you consider yours, not in the sense of ownership but in the sense of relationship boundaries and respect. But if she does not appreciate and respect those boundaries, do not walk ooh, run.

English

"Look at the way terrørists are k!ll!ng people and posting the videos on social media. This is the result of the votes some people sold during the last election."
— Livinus Nwosu, while visiting villagers and showing them a videos and pictures of several victims of terrørists att@cks, urged them not to sell their votes ahead of the 2027 elections and encouraged them to register for and obtain their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs).

Agenda 2: Pay several celebrities and influencers to blow it out of proportion quickly
Agenda 3: constantly come online and politicise it in disguise that we care
Agenda 4: We must keep showing the videos of the Oyo people only, ignore the ones happening in Igboland
Agenda 4: We arrange a protest and ask for a resignation
Agenda 5: We tell Nigerians na we be Captain America than Save Nigerians from the insecurity we created

@s_imiloluwa @RCCG_PR But religious leader no gree leave government face in congregation abi?
English

@HighChiefOkoro If na China or US, by now nobody fit enter that forest wey dem no go know where you dey... The government is benefiting from all of this... There is no will to end it period.
English

This post is further proof that social media followers are not a substitute for knowledge.
Imagine mocking the recruitment of forest guards while terrorists, bandits, and kidnappers are literally using forests as operational bases. That is the level of analysis we’re dealing with.
The funny part is that the countries many of you admire and constantly cite as models all have dedicated forest protection personnel. The United States has Forest Rangers under the U.S. Forest Service. Canada has Conservation Officers and Park Wardens. Germany has Foresters (Förster). The United Kingdom employs Forestry Rangers, while Australia deploys Park Rangers and Conservation Officers.
Developed nations understand that forests do not secure themselves. They require trained personnel to protect lives, preserve resources, gather intelligence, and prevent criminal activity.
Yet some people see the recruitment of 1,000 forest guards after a tragic abduction in Oyo State and somehow conclude that it is a bad idea. That is not criticism. That is ignorance wearing confidence as a costume.
If forest protection is standard practice in the United States, Canada, Germany, the UK, and Australia, then perhaps the problem is not the policy. Perhaps the problem is people commenting on security matters with less research than they put into composing a tweet to say “raise am”.

English

@HighChiefOkoro Is the government so allergic to technology that they would rather 1000 poorly trained civilians to their doom? What happened to combing and mapping the forest with sensors, Heat sensor drones, satellite views? this is 2026, Let's be smart or at least employ people who can think.
