Today marks the close of a significant chapter in my life – my final day as Ambassador of Canada to the United States. It has been the privilege of a lifetime, and I am so deeply honoured to have had the opportunity to represent Canada and Canadians here in the U.S.

At the Inter-Parliamentary Union Hearing at the UN, a clear message to lawmakers: Your engagement is required as the United Nations is not only under pressure but under outright attack. Parliamentarians need to stand up for the UN Charter, to support reforming the UN and to get engaged in the process of selecting the next Secretary-General.
